As per Clause 7 of the APU Work Norms Policy and UGC guidelines, University declarestwo weeks Public
Holidays, 5 Holidays for Local Festivals# and 2 Restricted Holidays (Annexure – A), 8 Casual Leaveand 12 Earned Leave for every Calendar Year as mentioned below for employees who have continuous service of one year:

Note:
1. Every 3rd Saturday (except in the month of May, June & July) and Sunday are declared as Public Holidays.
2. Casual Leave will be credited @2 days every three months (except Daily Wages Employee).
3. CL can be taken along with the Close Down period and Winter Vacation.
4. Winter Vacation will be treated as EoL for employees who have not completed one year continuous
service.
5. All employees must be present for celebration of Republic Day, Independence Day and Convocation Day.This is issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor.
